Using PickyGoat
You may browse public PickyGoat pages without an account. By using contribution or account features, you agree to use them lawfully and in line with these terms.
What PickyGoat is
PickyGoat ranks and recommends individual dishes using documented evidence, editorial judgment and product rules. Rankings are informed opinions, not guarantees that you will enjoy a dish or that every fact will remain current.
Results change
Rankings can move as evidence, availability, dish versions, confidence and publication state change. A dish shown today may later move, become unranked or be removed. A current #1 is not a permanent GOAT unless PickyGoat has formally awarded that title.
Prices, availability and third-party details
Prices, opening hours, menu availability, delivery options, locations and other restaurant information can change without notice. Check important details with the restaurant or relevant third-party service before relying on them.
Independence and no paid ranking position
Restaurants and partners cannot buy ranking position or a higher score. A restaurant may provide factual menu information, corrections or permitted photos without gaining ranking influence. Any paid promotion or commercial relationship will be kept separate from ranking decisions.
Community contributions
Ratings, comparisons, dish submissions and other community contributions do not automatically change PickyGoat rankings. Selected verified contributions may later be reviewed and used as evidence. Fraudulent, manipulated, automated, abusive or spam submissions may be rejected and access may be restricted.
Content and photos you submit
You must own or have the right to submit anything you upload. You give PickyGoat the limited rights needed to store, process, moderate and review your submission to operate the service. A community photo is displayed publicly or reused in PickyGoat social/promotional material only where the separate public-use permission required by the product was granted and the photo passed review. That public-use permission can be withdrawn prospectively as described on the Privacy page.
Moderation
PickyGoat may use automated and human review to detect unsafe, irrelevant, private or spam content. Content may be quarantined, rejected, edited for presentation or removed. Passing moderation does not make a contribution ranking evidence and does not make a photo an official dish image.
Accounts and security
Contribution features may require a verified account. Keep access to your email account secure and do not try to access another person's account, bypass rate limits, abuse one-time sign-in or handoff links, or interfere with PickyGoat's security controls.
PickyGoat content and branding
The PickyGoat name, branding, original site content, ranking presentation and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may share public links and use normal platform sharing features, but these terms do not grant a right to copy the service, scrape protected data at scale, impersonate PickyGoat or reuse branding in a way that suggests endorsement.
Third-party services
Links, maps, delivery services, social platforms and other third-party services are operated by their own providers and may have separate terms and privacy practices. PickyGoat is not responsible for their availability or conduct.
Liability
Use PickyGoat as a guide, not as a substitute for your own judgment about food, allergies, safety, travel, spending or other personal decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PickyGoat is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on rankings or third-party information. Nothing here removes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the product changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Questions, corrections and business enquiries can be sent through the Contact page; privacy requests use the process on the Privacy page.
These terms reflect the current PickyGoat pre-launch product. See also our privacy page. Professional legal review is still recommended before expansion into additional jurisdictions or materially different commercial uses.
